- Play the tutorial. You get two one-star hero crystals. For the first, you get Spider-Man automatically. For the second, you get a random tier one character. Progress through quest mode, which is basically story mode. You shouldn't have any problems until chapter 6. If a champion's health gets too low, heal them with a small health potion. Leave the medium and team health potions for later, tougher fights. If you run out of health potions, break open the free crystal you get every four hours. All you get in there is gold, ISO-8, health potions and revive potions. If you are stuck, play a versus match. Break open the versus crystal you get from versus matches. You can get a two or three star Punisher, but it's unlikley you will. If you get 100 Units, buy a premium hero crystal. It's the easiest way to get a three or four star hero.
- When you get to Chapter 6, you face the toughest boss yet. Deadpool, also known as The Merc With A Mouth, Wade Wilson and "That totally awesome guy in a red suit." Deadpool has a special two that causes bleed, so you want to stay away from that. Dodging will help, as both Deadpool's specials are close range and don't have much reach. A tactic I find useful is to get a five hit combo or so and then block until Deadpool tries to use a heavy attack, which breaks blocks. At that point, simply interrupt him with a combo before he can do the heavy attack. This also works well against other enemies. Use your best, most skilled and healthiest character. If he/she doesn't win, use a revive, bring out another character or use a health potion. The great thing about the fights are that if a character gets knocked out and is returned, the health won't change. Say I have Spider-Man. He reduces Deadpool's health to 120 before he gets knocked out. When he is revived, Deapool will still have 120 health. One last thing is to be on the defensive. Block and dodge often and only attack when you're going to use a special or see an opening. Once Deadpool is defeated, move onto stage two. Alternatively, you may wish to get 100% on stage one. If you chose to get 100% on stage one, make sure you're leveled up and have at least a tier two character. Doing so will make your life much easier. You also get a ton of units for doing a chapter and clearing it 100%. More Marvel Contest of Champions cheat will be update here! Stay tuned!
- Stage two is a little tougher, but nothing you won't be able to handle with a two star team. However, you will sometimes face Adaptoids. They are robots native to the Battlerelam, and will attempt to kill you. They have class, such as mystic, science, mutant, skill and cosmic. Adaptoids are fairly weak and you will not have too much trouble with them. However, you may have trouble with Chapter six's boss, Vision. Vision is an android, so bleed attacks are ineffective against him. Try to dodge his attacks, as none of them are full screen. It is recommended to have a champion with regeneration for this fight. Healing and revive potions can be used here as well. Also, you may face ambushes. An ambush is simply an unexpected character that pops out of nowhere to battle you. Make sure you have at least a high level tier two for this one. You should be able to clear this stage no problem. Once you've cleared it, go back and get 100% on it. You'll need a science, tech, mutant, skill and cosmic champion to unlock all the gates. Gates are simply gates that can only be opened if you have a character with a certain class. You shouldn't find all of this too difficult. Once you've done 100% on stage two, move onto stage three as soon as possible.
- Stage three is where the pressure starts mounting up. You face tier two characters, as previously you faced tier one characters. You will need at least a tier three character to deal with the enemies in chapter three. You also learn some new info about the Battlerelam. They don't call it "Battlerelam revelations" for nothing! You will face ambushes on almost every chapter, and there will be lots of gates. Start saving up for Prenimum Hero Crystals (see crystals and items section) as they are the quickest way to get a tier four character. The boss for chapter six of Battlerelam revelations is Iron Man. He is a tech champion (duh!) and uses beam attacks. These cannot be dodge, so you have to block them. Iron Man does take bleed damage, so use Deapool, Drax, Gamora, Black Panther or Wolverine. Regeneration is important too, so Wolverine and Deadpool are strongly recommended for this battle. Once you've done Stage three, move straight onto stage four, The Feud Explodes. You should only come back to get 100% on stage three if you have at least two tier three characters.
- Stage four, The Feud Explodes is tougher than stage three, but the difficulty doesn't ramp up immediately like it does in stages 2-3. Make sure you have at least two tier three characters on your team. The recommended team rating now goes to 1,000. This is quite a tall order. The final boss in The Feud Explodes is Star-Lord. Star-Lord is fairly easy to defeat. His first special can be dodged, and his second special is a close-up attack followed by a ranged attack. Dodge the close-up attack and block the ranged attack. Star-Lord has no bleed or regeneration, so this fight shouldn't be a problem. Once you defeated Star-Lord, you can go back and 100% Act 1, although it's not necessary.
